چکیده
Abstract We report a case of 74-year-old man with diagnosis concomitant primary cardiac tumor and right upper lobe lung cancer. Both tumors were evaluated to be resectable no further metastasis. A one-stage resection both through mini-thoracotomy endoscopic assistance was performed. The during cardiopulmonary bypass performed first, followed by lobectomy lymph nodes dissection the same incision position. Short-term results satisfying previous literature reviewed evaluate this method.

متن کاملThe oncological value of video-assisted thoracoscopic lobectomy for early-stage non-small-cell lung cancer.
We have read with interest the paper by Hanna et al. [1], who compared video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) with open lobectomy for Stage I and II non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with the aim of determining whether these techniques are oncologically equivalent. First of all, we congratulate the authors for the innovative statistical approach adopted. In fact, in order to investigate t...

Although it is not a pathologically significant entity, cases of azygos lobe (AL) are interesting due to the difficulty of performing video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) procedures in the affected patients and the presence of a congenital malformation. Currently, videothoracoscopic surgery has advanced to such a level that most thoracic procedures can be performed with video assistance....
